The Role: Legal Assistant
In this role, you will spend most of your time supporting lawyers with legal documentation, correspondence, calendar management, client files, court materials, and day-to-day administrative coordination. You will work closely with lawyers, clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other external parties to help ensure files, deadlines, meetings, filings, and follow-ups are handled efficiently and accurately.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Clerk, Law Clerk, or similar legal support professional
- Experience working in a legal office or law firm environment
- Strong organizational, time-management, written communication, and verbal communication skills
- Close attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and priorities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with legal practice management or document management software is an asset
