Take on a pivotal finance leadership role with Volaris Group in Mississauga as VP of Finance. Drive strategic finance initiatives while overseeing comprehensive financial operations.
As a temporary VP of Finance, you will bring your extensive finance experience to lead critical functions such as financial reporting, treasury, and internal audit relationships. Your ability to navigate complex relationships and guide team success is essential. This role prioritizes strategic thinking and decision-making to enhance the overall governance and performance of the finance function across Volaris.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all finance operations, from analysis to reporting
• Guide CFO/COO with data-driven financial decision support
• Direct financial planning, budgeting, and analysis efforts
• Spearhead initiatives for finance transformation and efficiency
• Develop and mentor a diverse finance team of 11
Requirements:
• Accounting designation (CPA) and 10+ years' experience required
• Proficient in IFRS and financial consolidations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with finance systems and automating processes
• High-level Excel expertise and familiarity with ERP systems
