Master Planner – Aerospace Manufacturing (On‑Site)
Location: On‑site at Calgary, Alberta, CAN – Aerospace Manufacturing Facility
Contract: 6‑month contract as consultant, contract‑to‑hire
Relocation: Candidates open to relocation are welcome
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Master Planner to support a high‑volume aerospace manufacturing environment .
The role is fully on‑site and focuses on Master Production Scheduling, material and capacity planning, and cross‑functional coordination to support on‑time delivery and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and support Final Assembly Line (FAL) planning.
- Perform material, inventory, and capacity planning in a rate‑driven manufacturing environment.
- Identify pacing items, bottlenecks, and schedule risks , and proactively escalate issues.
- Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams .
- Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems (BOMs, routings, lead times, work orders).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, flow, and delivery performance.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing planning (OEM or Tier‑1 preferred).
- Proven background in high‑volume / high‑rate production environments .
- Strong hands‑on experience with MPS, MRP/ERP, capacity planning, and inventory management .
- Solid understanding of BOM structures, routings, effectivity, and change management .
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a strong asset.
- APICS / CPIM certification is considered an asset.
