Workface Planner for Industrial Construction

Drive safety and efficiency in a site-based planning role on a major construction project in Fort McMurray, AB. Utilize your hands-on expertise to ensure successful Field Installation Work Packages (FIWP’s). This position requires a minimum of five years’ experience in industrial construction as a journeyman tradesperson or project specialist. You will liaise with contractors to manage safety regulations and planning processes effectively. Key responsibilities involve coordinating FIWPs with project schedules and conducting risk assessments to enhance job site safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee Field Installation Work Packages (FIWPs)
- Liaise between construction contractors and management
- Communicate safety policies and procedures clearly
- Identify and mitigate execution risks during planning
- Review and adjust FIWPs as required
- Minimum 5 years’ industrial construction experience
- Industry Trades Certification or Technical Diploma
- Proficient in MS Office and productivity tools
- CSTS Certificate required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
