Provide locum coverage at the Quinsam Medical Clinic in scenic Campbell River. Enjoy a flexible work schedule and the chance to experience a welcoming community. We are looking for a locum physician for a fee-for-service practice that allows for both clinic and Telehealth services. You will care for nursing home patients and can opt for additional responsibilities such as maternity care. The area boasts beautiful nature and recreational opportunities such as biking and kayaking, fostering a strong community connection. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve patients at the Quinsam Medical Clinic with diligence
- Conduct Telehealth services from home for convenience
- Participate in surgical assistance when required
- Deliver compassionate care to nursing home residents
- Administer optional walk-in clinic shifts during weekends
- Full License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Willingness to work with a flexible clinic schedule
- Experience with family practice is an asset
- Strong engagement with local culture is encouraged
