Are you a bilingual (French/English), senior technical accounting leader seeking a high-impact, strategic executive trajectory? A premier multinational corporation is looking for a Director of Complex Accounting and Special Projects to shape enterprise accounting governance and serve as a key technical advisor on strategic corporate growth.Reporting directly to the Vice-President, Group Financial Controller, you will direct Group accounting policy, spearhead technical strategy for major acquisitions, and mentor a talented team of accounting professionals.Compensation & Workplace Highlights

M&A & Strategic Transactions: Serve as the lead technical expert on acquisitions and deal structuring, managing purchase price allocation and transaction accounting implications.Policy & IFRS Excellence: Direct enterprise accounting policies, analyze evolving IFRS standards, and lead seamless standard implementations across business units.Technical Rigor & Disclosures: Author robust, audit-ready position papers, oversee annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment evaluations, and partner on complex financial disclosures.Audit Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors on technical accounting matters.Team Development: Build, coach, and elevate a high-performing technical accounting team.What You Bring
Senior Leadership: 15+ years of progressive accounting, advisory, or audit experience within large corporate or multinational environments.Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of IFRS and practical application to complex corporate deals.Communication & Language: Excellent advisory and executive communication skills, with full bilingualism (English & French) to collaborate across national teams.
