Nanny Wanted - Casual Sitter Needed In The South End

We are seeking a reliable part time nanny for our 1 year old and 5 year old daughters. Work hours would be 3 full days a week beginning the last week of October 2018 until the next school year begins in September 2019. I am open to negotiating which weekdays those will be, but once decided they need to be regular. We live in the south end of Halifax close to Dalhousie and King's College. Duties include care of the 1 year old all day and walking a few blocks to the local school to pick up the 5 year old at 3:00, and her after school care. You would be responsible for both girls on snow/sick/PD days as well as next July and August. Light housework related to the children, meal prep, and occasional errands like grocery shopping would also be expected. We are a family that values free play and being outside, and are looking for someone who is patient and consistent, fun and empathetic. The girls are pleasant, healthy kids who get along really well with each other. We are willing to pay up to 18$/hr for the right person.
