About Us: Scotia Tire is a leading distributor in the tire industry, committed to delivering top-tier products and service. With a rapidly growing operation, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tire Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient, safe, and organized operation of our large warehouse facility.
Position Summary: As the Tire Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in managing daily operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, storage, and distribution of a high volume of tires. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse activities including inbound and outbound tire shipments, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and documentation of tire inventory.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock levels and minimize loss.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to meet productivity and safety goals.
- Coordinate with logistics partners, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
- Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs, including efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.
- Identify and resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Supply chain
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management, preferably in the tire or automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to lift heavy tires and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
