Senior Administration Officer

Living Skies Housing Authority (LSHA) has an opportunity for a full-time SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICER. The position can be located at a LSHA Regional Office in either: Saskatoon, Melfort, North Battleford, Weyburn, Swift Current or Yorkton.

Supporting the Regional and Housing Support Managers, and as a first point of contact for Housing Authorities, the position provides a positive image while delivering various high level, confidential support functions. The incumbent builds and maintains professional working relationships with housing groups, members of all regional offices, and other department staff. Success in the position requires a natural collaborator with proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and make good decisions in support of the housing network.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

-Assist in the development and monitoring of annual operations plans and budgets.
-Develop regular and ad hoc reports, including trend analyses.
-Manage and oversee all office and equipment related contracts.
-Ensure the integrity of the accounting data.
-Support and provide troubleshooting for the standalone housing authorities for all finance, tenant and property related activities.
-Research, review and compile financial and other pertinent data for operational reviews, activity and project work.
-Provide day to day guidance and training for Housing Authority staff.

Qualifications:

-Diploma in business administration with a focus on accounting and 5 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Advanced knowledge of office systems and procedures.
-Ability to judge matters of confidentiality, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
