TalentWorld is recruiting a Production Worker– Manufacturing in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Transcona Area) for one of our partners.

Production Worker Responsibilities

• Prepare molds – clean, wax, and apply release agents
• Cut and measure raw materials (fiberglass, resins, gelcoat, plastics)
• Perform hand lay?up, spray?up, laminating, and rotational molding support
• Assemble parts and install hardware, fittings, and accessories
• Trim, grind, sand, drill, and finish products to spec
• Inspect products for defects and report issues to supervisors
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and quality checklists
• Use PPE and follow all safety and chemical handling procedures
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals
• Support cross?training and process improvement efforts

Production Worker Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (e.g., Manufacturing, Materials, or Mechanical) is an asset.
• WHMIS required (can be obtained after hire). Forklift and First Aid/CPR certifications are considered assets.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred, particularly in fiberglass, plastics, or general production environments.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, basic drawings, and production specifications.
• Strong basic math and measurement skills, including the use of tape measures, calipers, and rulers.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and other production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) unassisted on a regular basis.
• Must have steel-toe safety boots and be prepared to wear them on the job.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Must be able to provide 2–3 professional references.
• Must be available to start immediately.
• Access to reliable transportation is preferred.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s licence is preferred.

• Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

• Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
