Employment Services Officer at KRG

Join the Kativik Regional Government as an Employment Services Officer in Aupaluk. Drive workforce development through various training and employment services for the community. As an Employment Services Officer, you will report to the Local Employment Officers’ Hudson Coordinator. This position emphasizes helping clients identify their interests and skills to access the job market. You will also provide essential information on Service Canada programs, maintain client files, and communicate available services in the region. Key Responsibilities:

Provide employment and training services to clients
Inform clients about Service Canada programs available
Maintain client files using File Maker Pro software
Communicate local services and employability options
Perform additional related duties as required

Requirements:

Secondary V diploma or related experience preferred
Minimum of three years in administration roles
Bilingual in Inuktitut, English, or French
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Strong public speaking skills are an asset
