Aerospace Acoustics Simulation Engineer

Build finite element, statistical energy analysis, and ray tracing models for aircraft cabin acoustics. Validate design concepts through laboratory, ground, and flight testing.This Acoustic Engineer supports numerical simulation and laboratory measurement activities across aircraft programs. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and cabin acoustics colleagues to resolve vibration and acoustic issues on Challenger and Global aircraft. The work includes developing methods and tools, assessing design choices, and integrating connectivity, interior, features, and comfort developments. You will contribute to maintaining high standards of acoustic and vibratory comfort throughout development and service activities.Key Responsibilities:
Support advanced simulation models and laboratory measurementsResolve cabin acoustics and vibration engineering issuesSupport integration of new aircraft developmentsPropose and assess future aircraft toolsCharacterize vibratory environments in specific aircraft areasRequirements:
Engineering bachelor's degreeAcoustics master's degree or Ph.D.Three to eight years of relevant technical industry experienceGeneral acoustics and vibrations knowledgeExpertise in finite element methods or sound designUse simulation models, acoustic measurements, and testing programs to advance aircraft cabin comfort and vibratory performance.
