Stark & Marsh CPA LLP is seeking a strategic, collaborative Controller to lead internal financial operations and support firm growth. Based in Swift Current, with offices in Shaunavon, Cabri, and Assiniboia, we provide accounting, tax, audit, and consulting services to farm and business owners across southern Saskatchewan.
Key responsibilities: Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, cash flow, payroll, accounts payable/receivable oversight, and performance reporting. Partner with the CEO, Finance Committee, and operational leaders to support planning, profitability, process improvement, compliance, and risk management. Provide leadership and coaching to internal finance staff.
Qualifications: Progressive senior accounting/finance leadership experience required. CPA designation is an asset. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, internal controls, team leadership, communication, and collaboration are essential. Experience in public practice or a professional services environment is an asset.
