Drive growth initiatives as a Staff Software Engineer with Tubi, based in Toronto. Lead technical architecture for web, mobile, and OTT platforms, applying your expertise in React and Node.js. As a Staff Engineer (L5) within Tubi’s Growth team, you will take ownership of the technical roadmap across various Growth areas. Your responsibilities include solving complex problems associated with performance and scalability, as well as leading A/B testing for optimizing user acquisition metrics. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive innovation in features and enhancements that impact millions of users. Key Responsibilities:
- Own technical direction and architecture for Growth initiatives
- Solve ambiguous challenges focused on scalability and performance
- Lead the design and execution of A/B experiments
- Coordinate major rollouts across web and OTT apps
- Establish engineering standards and quality metrics
- 8+ years developing scalable web applications using React
- Experience leading engineering projects and teams
- Strong mentoring capabilities for junior and mid-level engineers
- Ability to influence cross-functional team dynamics
- Educational background in a technical field
