Contract Type: Full-time Continuing (1.0 FTE)
Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $118,611, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
- Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each
posting.
Job Summary
Counsellor - Grades 7-9
1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process.
Must have a Master's Degree recognized by the BC Teacher Regulation Branch in Counselling, Psychology in Counselling or Psychology. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Intermediate level. Must have training and or experience in trauma informed practice.
