As part of the SSR Mining team, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a geologist focused on resource integrity and mine operations. You will provide geological input for critical processes like stope design and grade control while maintaining clear communication with the Mining Department. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding production decisions through geological mapping and data interpretation.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide geological input for grade control and stope design - Conduct geological mapping and geotechnical data interpretation - Maintain strong communication with the Mining Department - Log diamond drill core and monitor drilling progress - Contribute to stope design inputs and geological reports
Requirements: - B.Sc. in Geology, preferably a registered Professional Geoscientist - At least one year of relevant mining experience - Familiarity with narrow vein mining is a plus - Experience with Leapfrog and MX Deposit is beneficial - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
