Bilingual Electrical Designer Role at GWAL

Step into a bilingual Electrical Designer position at GWAL, a premier engineering firm. This role focuses on project management and design excellence in a collaborative work environment. At GWAL, you'll engage directly with clients and the design team, ensuring project specifications are clearly communicated and meet industry standards. Candidates must have at least 18 months’ experience with AutoCAD or Revit. You will support construction administration and maintain the design quality across various projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients and engineers to define project scopes
- Document and communicate project details effectively
- Prepare comprehensive design layouts and project drawings
- Conduct necessary load calculations for electrical plans
- Participate actively in design review discussions
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology required
- A minimum of 18 months design experience needed
- Professional bilingualism in French and English
- Ability to secure PSPC Security Clearance
- Understanding of engineering practices and regulatory codes
