Job Overview

We are looking for a software developer to join the Platform Engineering Genetec Login team, which maintains and operates the single sign‑on (SSO) system for all Genetec products and customers.

We handle over 75 million requests per month and can deploy a new change to production in just 15 minutes thanks to continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD). We use the latest available versions, both for programming languages and our development tools.

This position offers high visibility within the company and is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a service that plays a central role in Genetec's cloud strategy.

Your Day at a Glance

• Develop and support the central login services for Genetec.
• Operate the infrastructure by ensuring overall governance, high availability, capacity management and appropriate incident response protocols.
• Accelerate and simplify development for application teams by providing solutions and the right technology for their login needs.
• Be a core contributor to define, develop, deploy, and maintain features and the Genetec Login product as a whole.
• Explore new technologies and experiment by developing a cutting‑edge, distributed microservices architecture based on the cloud.
• Own and maintain our fully automated test suite to keep the product quality high.
• Serve as a technical reference within the team to guide and mentor other members.
• Ensure the team and its products maintain a high level of security.
• Participate in the on‑call process as needed and according to the established schedule to ensure an adequate response to alerts and incidents.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• At least 5 years of experience in a software development role in the cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• A passion for cutting‑edge technologies, teamwork, and DevOps.
• Ability to learn quickly and to understand complex problems.
• Good teamwork ability and a collaborative nature.
• Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written (this position involves interactions with internal and external clients).

Your Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with C# and the .NET platform.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
• Experience developing large‑scale SaaS solutions using microservices.

An Asset If You Have

• Experience with OpenID Connect or OAuth 2.0 or any identity and access management (IAM) system.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or any other Infrastructure as Code solution.
• Experience operating a mission‑critical enterprise service in a production environment.
