Part-Time Household Helper / Housekeeper

We are looking for a friendly, dependable part-time household helper to assist my wife with the daily upkeep of our home while she is home caring for our 5-month-old baby. The main focus is keeping the home clean and organized. Typical tasks include wiping down household surfaces and counters, vacuuming all rooms, occasional mopping, cleaning mirrors, making the bed, taking out garbage, loading and unloading the dishwasher, washing and folding laundry, putting clothes away, and general tidying. We also have a few cats, so help with cleaning litter boxes, replenishing food and water, and moving the cats between rooms when needed would be appreciated. There may also be light cleaning of baby-related items, such as loading or running the bottle washer. No childcare is required. My wife will handle all care of our baby, including holding, feeding, changing, and supervision. We are looking for help for about 3 hours at a time, mostly in the afternoons. We would like to start with a few visits in August so everyone can become comfortable with the arrangement. We will need more frequent help for several days in September while I am away for work. Spanish-speaking is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone friendly who is comfortable with cats, enjoys some conversation while working, and takes pride in keeping a home clean and orderly.
