Backend Developer – Kubernetes

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Backend developer with expertise in Kubernetes to collaborate with global development teams from Europe, Canada, and the United States. The role includes designing, developing, deploying, and managing scalable and resilient backend services in containerized, cloud‑native environments as well as on‑premise customer deployments. The candidate will work closely with frontend developers and DevOps engineers to deliver innovative software solutions. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain code using Java and Python programming languages. Participate in code reviews and advocate for high‑quality coding standards. Mandatory Skills

10+ years in Java development. 3+ years in Python development. BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline. Proven experience delivering software applications. Comfortable with large language models beyond standard developer tools like Copilot or Claude; experience making API calls to an LLM, understanding the agentic loop, and ideally creating and using agents. Experience with MCP. Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Runner. Self‑motivated with strong team collaboration skills. Willingness to coach junior team members and collaborate on cross‑functional problem solving. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Nice‑to‑Have Skills

Eclipse RCP experience.
