Child Care Worker

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA) is committed to supporting and strengthening foster families, helping to create nurturing environments and brighter futures for children and youth in care across Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Childcare Worker to provide valuable support to foster family.

This dynamic role involves a variety of responsibilities, including childcare, light housekeeping, and providing transportation for family visits, appointments, or community outings. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of the children are met.

We are looking for an individual who is confident, self-motivated, and reliable, with a strong commitment to professionalism and attention to detail. As part of our team, you will work collaboratively, embrace new challenges, and contribute positively to a supportive and caring environment.

Position Details

Job Type: Part-time In-Home Childcare Support

Schedule: 21hrs/week Monday through Friday 4PM-7PM

Qualifications

* ECE or Youth Care Worker certification is considered an asset but is not required
* Experience in childcare or early childhood development is preferred, particularly supporting children with diverse needs and challenges
* Commitment to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Valid driver's license and a recent Criminal Record Check
