Employee Communications Specialist

Shape internal communications at Stantec through strategic planning, compelling content, and trusted relationships with Human Resources partners. This is a 12-month contract.As an Employee Communications Specialist, you will support companywide learning and organizational development initiatives. You will create communication experiences connecting employees with Stantec’s Strategic Plan and brand. The work requires strategic thinking, creativity, and care with sensitive information.Key Responsibilities:
Develop communication plans, campaign concepts, approaches, and timelinesCreate emails, intranet articles, and video briefsTailor messages for audiences, formats, and language considerationsBuild trusted relationships with leaders and internal partnersMeasure communication effectiveness and apply insightsRequirements:
Five or more years in communications-related workPost-secondary degree in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or marketing preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong prioritization, organization, and project coordination skillsProficiency with web tools and Microsoft Office applicationsBring strategic planning, content creation, and relationship-building skills to Human Resources communications at Stantec.
