We are currently looking for **two reliable, dependable, and motivated individuals** to join our construction and renovation team. Our company works on residential renovation projects throughout the Ottawa area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to work, develop practical construction skills, and build a long-term career in the trades. You will work alongside **Red Seal carpenters** who are willing to teach you how to properly renovate a house while you earn a competitive wage.

Responsibilities

Depending on the project, your duties may include:

- Assisting with residential renovations and general construction tasks
- Supporting carpentry work, including framing, repairs, and installations
- Installing and repairing drywall
- Assisting with flooring installation and removal
- Helping with painting, preparation, and finishing work
- Assisting with basic plumbing-related tasks
- Demolition, site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and construction materials
- Following instructions from experienced tradespeople and maintaining a safe, clean work area
- Learning new construction and renovation skills through hands-on training

You are **not required to know every aspect of construction**. We are willing to train the right candidates and provide on-the-job guidance. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work well with others are essential.

Requirements

- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Physically capable of performing general construction duties
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Positive attitude and respectful work ethic
- Able to work Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required, as work locations vary throughout Ottawa
- Previous construction or renovation experience is an asset, but not required
