The opportunity
In this Human Resources role, you will guide employees through leave and benefit related processes, keep records and entitlements accurate, and coordinate with payroll, insurers and public agencies. The work calls for care with personal information, attention to detail and a practical ability to explain next steps clearly.

What you will do

• Answer employee questions about leaves, disability processes and related forms; follow up with the people and organizations involved.

• Administer salary insurance files, including medical documentation, correspondence, records and arrangements for medical assessments.

• Process workplace injury and automobile accident documentation involving CNESST and SAAQ, and help employees understand the administrative steps.

• Calculate and maintain vacation statements and banks of leave days for different employee groups; prepare related reports and updates in HR systems.

• Support maternity leave requests, long term disability administration and benefit related documentation.

• Prepare information for retirement and progressive retirement processes, deferred sabbatical leaves, payroll reporting and audit requests.

• Help organize health and wellness initiatives and staff training such as first aid.

Your Qualifications:

• Enjoy helping people understand detailed processes during situations that can be stressful or time sensitive.

• Are comfortable working with confidential records, dates, calculations, spreadsheets and administrative systems.

• Can organize several files at once, spot missing information and follow through with accuracy and discretion.

• Communicate clearly with employees, payroll colleagues, insurers and external agencies.
  

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 16:00
Effective Start Date : Immediately to June 30, 2027 or the return of the person being replaced.
