Expected Start Date: To Be Determined Union: SUN Facility: St Josephs Hospital - SHA City/Town: Estevan Department: Diabetic Nurse Educator Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: No Job : In collaboration with the health team, the primary health nurse will provide primary health services to the community. This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; initiating and participating in community development initiatives and participating in evaluative projects. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Registered Nurse
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C)
Other Education and Training
- Certification in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or equivalent program required
