Vice President Finance Chief Financial Officer

Lead enterprise financial strategy at VHA Home HealthCare while advancing stewardship, governance, and innovation across Ontario’s home care sector.Reporting to the President and CEO, this executive leadership role combines financial acumen with strategic curiosity, sound judgment, and collaborative influence. You will advise the Board and executive team, strengthen Finance as a strategic business partner, and support sustainable growth. The mandate includes funding models, digital transformation, AI-enabled opportunities, partnerships, investment stewardship, and strategic investments.Key Responsibilities:
Shape VHA’s financial strategy, stewardship, and governanceAdvise the President, CEO, Board, and executive leadership teamEvaluate funding models, partnerships, investments, and growth opportunitiesBuild Finance capabilities and enterprise-wide strategic partnershipsEngage funders, government, healthcare partners, and sector colleaguesRequirements:
Recognized professional accounting designation, ideally CPASignificant progressive senior financial leadership experienceExperience in complex, multi-stakeholder organizationsInvestment management and Board-level investment governance experienceStrategic capability navigating complex funding environmentsApply financial leadership, enterprise judgment, and innovation expertise to VHA’s evolving home and community care mission.
