Assignment: Teacher on Call – CHIEF ZZEH GITTLIT SCHOOL (CZG) – Old Crow Chief Zzeh Gittlit School (CZGS) is located in the community of Old Crow, Yukon Territory. Old Crow is a remote, fly-in community in northern Yukon, 112 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Approximately 245 people live in Old Crow. High School Diploma, or equivalent experience Experience working with school aged students is preferred Ability to work collaboratively and maintain an authentic relationship with the local Yukon First Nation people, community members, community Elders, and families, promoting greater community involvement in school-based activities and educational programming; Eagerness to learn about and integrate the local Yukon First Nation culture & worldview, and the language in the classroom; Able to follow and carry out instructions with little supervision, and, If you are a certified teacher, please include: Recent teaching reports or practicum reports; A copy of your teaching certificate
