Firewood baggers

Job Responsibility:

Do you enjoy working outdoors, with your hands, and for a small company? Well, this is the job for you. 4J Firewood Services is looking for several hard working seasonal firewood baggers for full-time employment starting immediately to September 15, 2024 with possibility of extension based on workload and candidate. Worker will report to our firewood processing location daily via own transportation - must have reliable vehicle. Schedule is Monday to Friday 8hr shifts (8:00am - 4:30pm, 30 minute unpaid lunch break) and duties include but are not limited to:

- bagging firewood for deliveries and stock- stacking firewood bags for deliveries and stock- wrapping firewood pallets for deliveries and stock- daily tracking and reporting number of bags completed to supervisor- working alone, outdoors, in the elements

Successful candidate must:- have own transportation and be willing to travel to job site daily (located 20 minutes south of Rocky Mountain House, Ab, 15 minutes north-west of Caroline Ab. on Highway 22)

-must reliable and hardworking- be comfortable working alone in remote location- be comfortable working around large machinery and moving parts- have high regard for safe work practices- be able to handle daily physically demanding work, be able to bend repeatedly and lift minimum 50lbs repeatedly

Additional information:- no experience needed, training will be offered by employer.

- must be minimum 17

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• Rocky Mountain House, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
