Hybrid Counsellor at AYSP in Mississauga

Become a valued Counsellor at Associated Youth Services of Peel, providing impactful mental health support in a hybrid setting in Mississauga, Ontario. Empower youth and families through both virtual and face-to-face counselling services. In this role, you will collaborate to develop individual treatment plans while conducting assessments and delivering comprehensive counselling. You'll also coordinate group sessions and ensure thorough documentation of all client interactions and plans, making a real difference in the lives of those you serve. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual and in-person counselling sessions
• Develop individualized client treatment plans
• Coordinate Triple P Program parent groups
• Document assessments and case notes diligently
• Attend peer supervision sessions regularly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Valid registration with OCSWSSW or CRPO
• Two years’ relevant experience with youth and families
• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques
• Access to reliable vehicle for travel needs
