Commissioning Engineer for Data Centers

Join a field-driven role as a Commissioning Engineer focused on data center power systems. Ensure the performance of protection systems through comprehensive testing and nationwide travel. You will be responsible for verifying automation logic and protection system performance on Tier III/IV data centers. This position emphasizes developing and executing test procedures, functional performance testing, and managing commissioning milestones. Your successful onboarding will lead to significant contributions during critical site activities and efficient project management. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute FAT, SAT, and IST test procedures
- Perform functional performance testing and scheme verification
- Plan and lead staged commissioning activities
- Execute transfer testing sequences with precision
- Prepare commissioning records and as-built documentation
- 5+ years experience in commissioning critical power systems
- Proficient in FAT/SAT procedures for relays and controllers
- Experience with secondary injection testing tools
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards
- Strong punch-list management and documentation skills
