Construction Project Coordinator (Edmonton)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee project timelines, coordinate between teams, and ensure the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with construction management software, and a solid understanding of construction processes and schematics. The Construction Project Coordinator will play a vital role in managing documentation, and supporting project managers to deliver quality results on time and within scope.

Duties

• Review and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure project accuracy.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Assist in preparing construction estimates using PlanSwift.
• Monitor project progress, update schedules, and communicate changes or delays to team members promptly.
• Manage documentation including change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Support project management activities by tracking costs, resources, and timelines to ensure adherence to project goals.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or coordination roles within the construction industry.
• Robust knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, PlanSwift.
• Experience with construction estimating processes is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating between teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols.

Pay: $54,249.39-$69,448.25 per year
