Senior Analyst for Investment Grade Control

Join RBC's Product Control team as a Senior Analyst focusing on the Investment Grade Europe desk. This full-time role in Toronto requires expertise in product knowledge, P&L analysis, and reporting. Based in Toronto, the Senior Analyst will cover a UK-based desk and work closely with Front Office and Financial Control teams. You will provide daily P&L production, risk analysis, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and integrity of records. This role involves producing ad-hoc financial reporting and justifying P&L through robust analytical skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce daily desk P&L with detailed commentary
- Reconcile P&L to trader estimates accurately
- Ensure the integrity of banking records and conducted reconciliations
- Report consolidated results to senior management effectively
- Communicate findings clearly to Front Office colleagues
- 4+ years relevant Product Control experience
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field
- Proficient accounting skills; CPA preferred
- Strong problem-solving and numerical abilities
- Knowledge of MS Excel and risk analysis techniques
