Technical QA Manager

What you'll be responsible for:

• Project UAT creation, test plan verification
• Systematic bug triage and management across the stack.
• Maintenance and monitoring of CI/CD systems 
• Hands-on management of staging systems, including data extracts, full data deployments, and development data versioning.
• Supporting engineering teams by clarifying technical constraints and bridging communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Management of test automation

What we'd love to see in your work history:

Core Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, QA Automation, or related technical roles such as Software Developer within a software product company.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical hands-on experience.
• Ability to read application and test code (e.g. Ruby, Python or Javascript).
• Hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and running test suites within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or similar integration tools).
• Direct experience using modern issue-tracking software like Linear, Jira, or GitHub Issues to triage and manage defects.

• Practical experience translating product briefs into comprehensive User Acceptance Tests (UATs) and clear test plans.
• Experience working with B2B, SaaS, or complex web applications is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with ChatGPT MegaBuster 2000™

Location: We look forward to welcoming our new Technical QA Manager to our West End Toronto office (1655 Dupont St) three days per week during the onboarding process, then the successful candidate can choose between working hybrid or remote. 

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
