We are looking for a full-time, live-in nanny/household manager to join our busy family and provide both childcare and household support. We have three children, ages 6, 4, and 10 months. Our youngest will be in daycare during the day, and we will primarily handle her drop-offs and pick-ups, so the childcare responsibilities will mainly involve our two older children. Duties will include school drop-offs and pick-ups, helping with morning and after-school routines, preparing simple meals and snacks, helping with homework and reading, supervising the children after school, and driving them to evening activities such as gymnastics, swimming, sports, and other activities. A valid driver’s licence and experience driving children is strongly preferred. A large part of the position will also involve household management and housekeeping, including doing and putting away laundry, changing and washing bed linens, making beds, organizing children’s clothing, toys and bedrooms, maintaining tidy and organized common areas, cleaning the kitchen, loading and unloading the dishwasher, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, taking out garbage and recycling, organizing closets and storage areas, keeping household supplies stocked, assisting with groceries and errands, and helping the household stay organized and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, warm, trustworthy, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative with both childcare and household responsibilities.
