Director Commercial Banking Portfolio

Lead complex commercial banking relationships at Meridian in a hybrid role across London and Guelph, using financial analysis and business development expertise.As Director, Commercial Services, you will build and develop commercial portfolios generally involving lending needs above $5,000,000. You will pursue profitable growth, retention, risk management, and strong Member relationships. The position includes mentoring staff, structuring credit arrangements, and supporting community engagement.Key Responsibilities:
Manage profitability and long-term value of commercial Member relationshipsBuild targeted pipelines through Members, partners, and community contactsRecommend products addressing business goals and financial needsStructure, negotiate, and document complex credit arrangementsCoach staff through collaborative teamwork and developmentRequirements:
Seven to ten-plus years managing commercial banking portfoliosEducation in accounting, finance, commerce, or business administrationExpertise in commercial lending and deposit productsAdvanced credit investigation, underwriting, and interviewing skillsExcellent analytical, relationship, communication, and leadership skillsDevelop Meridian’s complex commercial portfolio through credit expertise, Member service, profitable growth, and relationship leadership.
