Contract Senior Engineer - Guidewire Cloud

Take on a challenging contract as a Senior Engineer specializing in Guidewire ClaimCenter. This position allows for remote work with required on-site involvement two days a week if geographically feasible. This role is tailored for a dynamic individual eager to contribute to complex business applications on the Guidewire Cloud platform. You will champion the software development cycle, ensuring high standards through rigorous code reviews and automated testing strategies. Your prior experience will facilitate collaboration with analysts and stakeholders, ensuring technical designs meet enterprise requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive design and implementation of application features as the technical lead
- Manage SDLC stages from planning to delivery
- Conduct thorough peer reviews to uphold coding quality
- Work with business stakeholders on technical alignment
- Create and enhance automated testing frameworks
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Guidewire platforms
- Cloud proficiency in Guidewire is highly valuable
- Strong command of GOSU, databases, and web services
- Background in the Insurance industry preferred
- Relevant educational qualifications in software development
