L'entretien et la réparation de véhicules vous passionnent-ils? À titre de technicien·ne de véhicule des Forces armées canadiennes (FAC), votre rôle consistera à assurer l'entretien, la réparation et la remise en état des véhicules terrestres.
Ce poste est offert à temps plein ou à temps partiel, ou dans le cadre de notre programme d'études payées.

Aperçu
Les principales fonctions des technicien·ne·s de véhicule sont les suivantes :
Inspecter, réparer, remettre en état et modifier tous les types d'équipement et de pièces d'automobiles.
Réparer, ajuster et modifier les systèmes d'un véhicule moteur.
Utiliser et entretenir les outils courants et spécialisés, l'équipement hydraulique, mécanique et pneumatique de base d'un garage et le matériel de soudage oxyacétylénique.
Effectuer la récupération de tous les types de véhicules utilisés dans l'Armée canadienne, à l'aide de camions de remorquage courants et de véhicules de récupération à roues et à chenilles spécialisés.
Conduire tous les types de véhicules, du petit véhicule de soutien à roues au transporteur de char.
Participer à des opérations terrestres et au besoin, livrer combat à titre de soldat d'infanterie.

Pour pouvoir vous enrôler dans les FAC, vous devez :
posséder la citoyenneté canadienne ou être résident permanent vivant au Canada;
avoir au moins 18 ans (17 ans avec le consentement parental) sauf pour :
les programmes d'études subventionnées – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents);
la Première réserve – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents) et être aux études à temps plein;
avoir terminé sa 10 année ou son 4 secondaire au Québec (certains postes demandent un niveau d'éducation plus élevé).
Études requises
Ce poste exige que les candidat·e·s aient terminé au minimum leur 10e année ou leur 4e secondaire au Québec, conformément aux normes provinciales comportant :
Cours de mathématiques appliquées de 10e année ou Math 416 / CST 4 au Québec
Cours de sciences de 10e année ou l'équivalent.
Il est possible que les études à l'étranger soient reconnues.

La personne idéale aura déjà un diplôme d'études collégiales, les FAC décideront si votre programme de formation remplit les critères du poste, et vous pourriez être envoyé directement à une formation en cours d'emploi après avoir obtenu votre qualification militaire de base.
