Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Developer – CRM / Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dataverse . This individual will provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with solution architecture, development, integrations, deployments, and production support.

The successful candidate must have prior experience as a Lead Microsoft Dynamics Developer and a strong background delivering complex enterprise CRM, Customer Service, Case Management, permitting, licensing, registration, inspection, or compliance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and guidance to developers.
  
• Act as a hands-on technical contributor while leading delivery.
  
• Conduct code reviews and establish development standards, security controls, and best practices.
  
• Lead technical workstreams and coordinate developers, testers, BAs, architects, SMEs, and stakeholders.
  
• Serve as a subject matter expert and facilitate technical knowledge transfer.
  

Dynamics 365 / Power Platform

• Architect, design, develop, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Case Management solutions.
  
• Configure and develop using both out-of-the-box and custom Dynamics 365 capabilities .
  
• Build solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages .
  
• Work extensively with Microsoft Dataverse , including data modelling, table relationships, business rules, security, plugins, workflows, migration, and integrations.
  
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, Agent Experience Profiles, Session Templates, Workstreams, and Routing .
  
• Support both low-code development and custom development within Dynamics 365.
  

Solution Architecture & Integration

• Design scalable, secure enterprise solutions using Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dataverse .
  
• Create contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical architecture/solution designs.
  
• Design and implement complex integrations between enterprise systems.
  
• Develop REST APIs, Web APIs, custom connectors, plugins, and integrations .
  
• Apply API-led architecture, cloud integration patterns, enterprise integration patterns, and software design principles.
  
• Support permit/licensing/case-management lifecycle solutions, including intake, review, approvals, issuance, amendments, renewals, inspections, compliance, and document generation.
  

Azure & Cloud Development

Hands-on experience designing and developing with:

Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Management

• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
  
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Solution Architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
  
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, implementation plans, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  
• Manage risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and technical challenges.
  

AI & Innovation

• Leverage Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, Generative AI, and LLM technologies to improve development productivity, solution design, testing, automation, and delivery.
  
• Identify modernization opportunities and continuously improve development practices.
  

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Minimum 7 years of software development and enterprise application delivery experience.
   
2. Minimum 5 years implementing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions , including Azure solution design.
   
3. Prior experience as a Lead / Technical Lead Microsoft Dynamics Developer .
   
4. Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Case Management .
   
5. Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform , including:
