Senior Generative Ai Scientist

Lead Generative AI research and production deployment for Wayfair Customer Service, architecting agentic systems and proprietary language models at enterprise scale.As a Machine Learning Scientist III, you will define technical roadmaps for customer service intelligence. You will design multi-agent frameworks, domain-adapted LLMs, and LLMOps infrastructure. The work combines NLP expertise, production delivery, mentorship, and cross-functional technical leadership.Key Responsibilities:

Required experience based on PhD, MS, or quantitative STEM BSTrack record delivering complex AI systems at production scaleDeep expertise in transformers, RAG, and fine-tuning paradigmsExpert Python, containerization, and distributed inference skillsExperience with monitoring, guardrails, and stakeholder communicationBring Generative AI, NLP, systems design, and production LLMOps expertise to Wayfair’s Customer Service organization.
