Job Title : Pet Travel Assistant

Location : Calgary NE

Salary Range: $50,000

Position: IAL is looking for a dedicated and passionate Pet Travel Assistant to join our team at our Calgary location, near the Calgary Airport. If you love working with animals and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities :

• Preparing travel kennels for the pet’s domestic or international flight
• Taking the pet to its veterinary appointment and making sure all the required documents are completed correctly.
• Taking the pet’s paperwork to the CFIA for endorsement.
• Picking up and dropping off pet’s at the airline’s warehouse for their scheduled flights or at their owner’s location.
• Taking care of the pets (mainly dogs and cats) that stay overnight at our facility prior to their flight. (no need for overnight stay yourself).
• Cleaning the pet’s travel kennels when they transit at our facility prior to their next flight.
• Cleaning our overnight kennels after the pet’s leave for the new pets coming in.
• Providing updates to the pet parents whose animals are staying with us.
• Adhere to brand values of Safety, Compassion, Transparency, Integrity and Excellence

Qualifications :

• Must love animals and be comfortable around pets of all shapes and sizes
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including occasional evening, early morning and weekends.
• Must have decent computer skills.
• Clean Criminal background check
• Drivers license with clean record required.
• Legally able to work in Canada
