Technology Business Lead Analyst

Services is a leading provider of cash management, treasury, trade, clearing, depository receipts and commercial cards services. We provide clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage their portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chains. One of the key functions within Services is Core Banking Technology. This group is responsible for technology that drives Core Banking capabilities for our clients. Core Accounts Technology is currently undergoing a multi-year large scale transformation tackling eCommerce-scale growth programs as well as retirement of the legacy infrastructure, building out of a next generation best in class set of capabilities that will evolve as our Client, Market, Consent Order and Regulatory needs evolve across the globe and also addressing the current regulatory demands on the existing platform.

This role requires deep expertise in system design, hands-on coding, and strong problem-solving skills to create resilient, high-performing, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality banking features and services.

• Gather, analyze, and document business related to core banking functions such as CASA, loans, Payments, deposits etc.,

• Conduct gap analysis and impacat analysis on existing core banking product and workflows.

• Participate in functional requirement analysis related to core banking modules.

• Implement automated tests using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or Cucumber.

• Actively contribute to hands-on coding, code reviews, and refactoring to maintain high engineering standards.

• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders in business, operations, and technology divisions across upstream and downstream Organizations.

• Exposure to Industry Core Banking Platforms is must e.g. Flexcube, PISMO. Liaise closely with Product Owners to translate the User Stories to well-defined technical requirements and solutions.

• Maintain documentation and follow secure coding practices aligned with regulatory and compliance needs.

Qualifications:

• 6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Java (8+) and Spring Boot.

• 5+ years of experience as business analyst in the banking or financial services domain.

• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).

• Experience integrating with core banking platforms (e.g.,Flexcube, Finalce etc..) is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.

• Familiarity with modern cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.

• Bachelor's degree/University degree, or equivalent experience required
