Capgemini seeks a Migration Deployment Specialist with a focus on IBM Z Workload Scheduler. This pivotal role requires mainframe scheduling expertise and analytical skills for successful migrations across various environments. As a critical team member, you will lead the migration of batch scheduling workloads to IBM Z Workload Scheduler. Your experience as a Subject Matter Expert will play a significant role in driving effective conversions in development, test, and production environments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will utilize your analytical abilities to ensure seamless execution of migration activities and enhance project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead migration of batch scheduling workloads to IBM Z Workload Scheduler
• Analyze legacy platforms and translate them into IZWS structures
• Execute iterative migration cycles and resolve dependencies
• Monitor batch workload execution and identify issues
• Create and maintain migration documentation and procedures Requirements:
• 5+ years of mainframe experience (OS/390, z/OS)
• 5+ years of experience with IBM Z Workload Scheduler
• Advanced proficiency in TSO/ISPF and JCL
• Expertise in REXX scripting for automation
• Solid communication skills for technical collaboration Utilize your migration, scheduling, and batch processing skills to ensure project success with Capgemini.
