Job Responsibility: General Information:
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for casual Cashier Receptionist opportunities in the South Cowichan Recreation Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Administration & Facility Booking Coordinator, the Cashier Receptionist is responsible for the reception duties within the Kerry Park Recreation Centre and Shawnigan Lake Community Centre. This includes meeting and greeting the public, answering telephone and in-person inquiries, routing information, and performing a variety of other tasks such as program registration, and admission sales.
Qualifications:- Secondary school graduation plus cash / clerical / computer training, or an equivalent amount of education, training, and experience.
- Related experience in a customer services capacity and working with cash and balancing daily cash receipts, or equivalent combination of skills, education, and training.
- Familiarity with the operation of standard business equipment, including computers and a multi-line telephone system.
- Basic First Aid Certificate (Previously First Aid Level 1)
