Overview

Senior Machine Learning Engineer role based in Sunnyvale, CA, onsite. Full‑time, floating salary. Key focus: designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models to solve business problems in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product managers) to integrate ML models into products and services.
• Conduct data cleansing, exploration, and feature engineering to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Stay up‑to‑date with latest ML technologies and apply them innovatively.
• Collect and synthesize requirements, create AI roadmap for responsibilities.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge and expertise.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy (HIPAA) and security regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field focusing on ML.
• Minimum three years of experience in ML, with at least one year in a senior or lead deep‑learning role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Proven track record of deploying ML models into production.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their ML services.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience fine‑tuning large language models (LLM) or RAG is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare sector and understanding of health data (EMR, genomics, wearables) is desirable.
