General Statement Of Duties
Reporting to the Airport Manager, the Airport Maintenance Mechanic provides monitoring, maintenance, and repair functions for the airport runway, roadways, grounds, buildings, equipment, sewer and water.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid Class 1 or Class 3 BC Driver’s License with Air Brake endorsement
- Level 1 First Aid
- At least one (1) year of experience in airport equipment service, some heavy-duty mechanical experience, welding experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
