Senior Financial Accountant (London)

Position: Senior Financial Accountant, Financial Reporting & Taxation

Reports To: Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Taxation

Key Responsibilities

• Record month‑end adjusting entries and capital entries for investment funds and development properties
• Monitor cash flow activities and prepare investor distributions and other payments
• Assist with coding of invoices to the correct fund and general ledger accounts
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements for both internal and external users
• Prepare year‑end audit and tax working paper files within scheduled deadlines
• Prepare month‑end reporting for external parties
• Liaise with management and third‑party financial information providers
• Complete ad‑hoc projects for internal and external reporting purposes
• Assist with other department functions as required

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field
• Three to four years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Investment company and real‑estate experience is an asset
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills required
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills required
• Strong organization skills and detail‑oriented
• Individual must be motivated, deadline‑oriented and work well with others
• Good business judgment and ability to perform multiple tasks without frequent direction
• Resourceful; able to solve problems and work independently
• Knowledge of Yardi preferred

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is CA $85,000 – $95,000. Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
