About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Reliability and Production Engineering (RPE) team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about production support, systems reliability, and solving complex technical challenges in a fast‑paced environment.

As part of a growing SRE practice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, scalability, performance, and resilience of critical enterprise systems. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to maintain and improve the reliability of production services while driving automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full technology stack, including infrastructure, operating systems, applications, databases, and networks.
  • Partner with engineering and development teams to design, build, and maintain reliable production systems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and develop solutions to improve deployment, monitoring, management, and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate reliability and operational risks.
  • Participate in incident management activities, including leading incident calls, coordinating stakeholders, and providing timely updates.
  • Collaborate with global teams in a follow‑the‑sun support model and participate in an on‑call rotation when required.
  • Contribute to design reviews and operational readiness assessments for new and existing services.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure service availability and resilience.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in Production Support, Systems Administration, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or a related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
  • Experience working in Linux environments with solid system administration knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and database commands.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience participating in incident management and production support activities.
  • Understanding of modern systems architecture concepts, including:
  • Load balancing
  • Databases
  • Distributed systems
  • Microservices
  • Caching
  • Cloud technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scripting and automation using:
  • Python
  • Bash
  • Perl
  • Ruby
  • Hands‑on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
  • AppDynamics
  • Grafana
  • Splunk
  • Dynatrace
  • Exposure to configuration and deployment tools such as:
  • Ansible
  • GitHub
  • CI/CD platforms
  • Knowledge of SRE and DevOps best practices.
  • Exposure to financial services, stock markets, or capital markets environments.

Must‑Have Skills

  • Self‑learning attitude and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to lead incident calls involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and provide regular status updates during critical incidents.
  • Basic Linux administration and command‑line knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Python scripting and database queries.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support production environments.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Bash and Python scripting experience.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment banking environments.
  • Exposure to SRE, DevOps, automation, and cloud technologies.
