We provide comprehensive guidance, analysis, and support through every stage of the immigration process.We are currently seeking a passionate and highly qualified Immigration Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing of a Canadian bar association with a minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration lawQualificationsActive membership in good standing with a Canadian Bar AssociationMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in immigration law, with expertise in:Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) processes and requirementsNegotiating with Canadian employers to facilitate foreign recruitmentHandling Judicial Review (JR) cases, including preparation and representationFiling and managing Mandamus applications to compel governmental actionRepresenting clients in appeals before relevant immigration authorities and tribunalsManaging and advocating for refugee protection claims and related legal processesComprehensive understanding of Canadian immigration laws, policies, and procedural nuancesSpanish language skills are not required but would be a valuable assetResponsibilitiesImmigration Applications :Prepare and submit various immigration applications, including LMIA requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness to minimize the risk of rejectionsLegal Representation: Represent clients in legal proceedings, including appeals before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), judicial review applications in Federal Court, and mandamus actions to ensure immigration authorities fulfill their obligationsRefugee Cases: Evaluate the legitimacy of asylum seekers' and refugees' claims, represent them in IRB proceedings, prepare detailed statements, and gather necessary evidence to support their casesLegal Compliance:Stay informed on changes in immigration laws and policies, ensuring clients receive accurate advice and remain compliant with current regulationsIf you are a passionate and experienced immigration lawyer looking to make a difference, we invite you to apply nowWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
