- Élaborer des documents d'information pour les patients
- Faire l'inventaire des médicaments et des produits pharmaceutiques
- Tenir à jour les dossiers d'ordonnances
- Installer et démonter l'équipement
- Nettoyer et entretenir le matériel
- Mélanger, emballer et étiqueter les produits pharmaceutiques
- Préparer et entretenir le matériel et les fournitures
- Traiter des réclamations reliées à l'assurance-maladie ou à l'indemnisation des accidents de travail
- S'occuper des fournitures
- Tenir l'inventaire de l'équipement
- Exécuter des tâches de bureau
- Traiter les dossiers et la paperasserie
- Fixer et confirmer des rendez-vous
- Gérer les activités courantes du cabinet, telles que la réception, les appels téléphoniques et prendre les rendez-vous
- Commander des fournitures et de l'équipement
- Organiser et tenir un inventaire à jour
- Donner des conseils sur les pièces et les fournitures
- Prendre les mesures des membres ou des parties du corps des patients
- Tenir des registres exacts
- Interpréter les prescriptions du médecin
- Orienter les personnes déficientes physiques à se servir de techniques de réadaptation, d'appareils prothétiques et de fauteuils roulants
- Prendre les dispositions pour la facturation des services
- Mélanger des solutions orales, des onguents et des crèmes
- Préparer des factures pour les tiers assureurs
- Aider à établir les horaires et le déroulement du travail
- Composer des produits pharmaceutiques prescrits en calculant, mesurant et mélangeant les bonnes quantités de médicaments et d'autres ingrédients
- Préparer les médicaments pour les clients
- Installer de l'équipement médical
- Aider les pharmaciens
- Saisir les renseignements des clients dans les bases de données
- Veiller à l'exactitude des informations figurant sur les ordonnances
- Coordonner des soins aux patients
- Aider à la maintenance et à la réparation de l'équipement médical
