Position Details

Interior Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Nelson Community Health Campus, a primary care site serving patients of all ages. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your clinical expertise, leadership, and commitment to high quality care to a community-focused environment where your work truly makes a difference.

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive primary health care services, support chronic disease management, promote health and wellness, and contribute to innovative models of care that improve access for the people of Nelson and surrounding areas.

This is a permanent part-time (0.40FTE) position.

Hours/Rotation

  • Rotating Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays 8:30-16:45.
  • On-call may be required

Salary range for the position is $76.61/hour - $84.27/hour. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant.

Education : Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or equivalent.

Certification : Current Nurse Practitioner certification with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives

Experience : Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, with the ability to diagnose, treat, and manage patient care is considered an asset.
